I finished two bathroom remodels a couple months ago and of course I'm just getting around to sharing them with you. I had grand plans of fully accessorizing and getting professional shots but alas I think that ship has sailed. So my iphone pictures will have to do for now.
BATHROOM 1 :
It's easy to see why these bathrooms needed a little TLC. The colors were dark and the finishes were dated. My main goal was to brighten up both rooms through paint and tile.
If you've ever shopped for tile you know the possibilities are endless! So for the first bathroom we went with your classic white subway tile for the shower/tub surround and a 2" matte white hexagon for the flooring. The rustic wood vanity and built in shelving brought in a bit of much needed warmth.
The second bathroom got a major update just by ripping out the vanity and tearing down part of the shower wall and replacing it with glass. The whole space immediately opened up and seemed so much brighter! Although a bit more traditional than my normal aesthetic, I really love the tile we chose for this room. It's variations in color tone and long narrow subway shape made it super unique. Pair that with coordinating river rock and bright white grout and I think you have a pretty stunning shower. The seagrass limestone floors were also another favorite of mine.
All of this wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of Charlie Calisti and his crew at Riviera Construction. They were responsible for turning the designs into reality!
